Paste Override (Panel Edit)
This option allows control variables to be set to particular values whenever a paste operation occurs. This provides a means of ensuring control values are set appropriately.
At present two control values can be overridden.
Directions:
To limit the placement of controls based on a grid:
| 1. | Choose Editor/Panel Edit Enable to place the Editor in Panel Edit mode |
| 2. | Right click and choose Layout Fns/Override on Paste... from the popup menu |
| 3. | Use the displayed dialog to set the desired override options |
| 4. | Press the OK button to accept the settings |
Override On Paste Dialog
This dialog currently allows two parameters to be set when ever a control paste occurs.
When checked, the first option forces the layer assignment to a particular value.
When checked, the second option forces the control to keep the same ID value instead of the standard operation which is to assign a new ID value guaranteed not to conflict with the IDs of other controls in the panel
