The Driver Creator portion is of the Instrument Creator Window is used to define a driver, the definition which enables MIDI Quest to load and save SysEx data from/to an instrument.
The three macros, Receive, Transmit, and Audition are the core of this process. The additional parameters are used to add enhanced functionality to Midi Quest. The Roland, Checksum, and Dump Request sections of the Driver Creator and legacy sections and should never be used. The Patch section will only be used with instruments which do not have a separate edit buffer.
The driver is divided into sections with each section covered in a different page of this help file. The sections are
