MIDI Parser (SysEx Window)

Purpose

This selection opens the Midi Parser dialog window. This window breaks down the SysEx in the SysEx Window into its individual SysEx components. It is then possible to send each SysEx string separately.

MIDI Parser Dialog

This dialog is of little general purpose however, for those who are technically oriented, if you have a SysEx dump that is a combination of many smaller dumps and you would like to be able to send some of the smaller dumps without sending all of the SysEx, this is how it can be done. Simply move the SysEx into the SysEx View window, and choose the MIDI Parser option. The resulting dialog will list all of the separate SysEx messages. To send a particular SysEx message, simply select the message and press the Transmit button.
