This sub-menu is used to uninstall plug-ins for the currently selected instrument(s).
For Windows, the sub-menu has the following plug-in options:
• | All - delete all installed plug-ins for each selected instrument |

For Macintosh, the sub-menu has the following plug-in options:
• | All - delete all installed plug-ins for each selected instrument |
• | AU - delete the installed AU plug-ins for each selected instrument |
• | VST3 - delete the installed VST3 plug-ins for each selected instrument (Cocoa version only) |

AAX: as a result of Avid's rules regarding signing of AAX plug-ins, the management of these plug-ins is different from all other types. Requesting that an AAX be uninstalled for any instrument module will uninstall AAX support for all instrument modules. Pro Tools should not be running during the management of AAX instrument modules in Midi Quest as it can result in the failure of all related AAX plug-in operations.
Directions:
To delete one or more installed instrument plug-ins :
1. | Select the instruments whose plug-ins are to be uninstalled |
2. | Display the Studio/Uninstall Plug-ins for sub-menu and select the plug-in formats to delete |
3. | For Windows, the OS will ask for confirmation to run "MQSetupRegistry" to perform the operation |
4. | For Macintosh, the OS will request your password to confirm the removal of AAX plug-ins |
