IconEdit Set Layer (Panel Edit)

Purpose:

Use this command to quickly set all selected controls to the same layer.

A control can only be assigned to one layer. The layer is currently used to show and hide controls

Directions:

To assign a new layer number to selected controls:

1.Choose Editor/Panel Edit to place the Editor in Panel Edit mode
2.Select the controls to apply the layer number to
3.Right click and choose Editor Fns/Set Layer from the popup menu
4.Use the displayed dialog to select a layer number
5.Press the OK button to proceed with the modification
6.Panel Edit will set all selected controls to use the new layer number

TQSetLyr

This dialog is used to enter the layer number to assign to the selected controls. There are 256 supported layers (0 - 255)

Key Equivalent:

Shift+Ctrl+L

note: key equivalents will only work when the editor view has focus. If the panel editor has been used then the focus has been shifted and key equivalents will not work. Click the mouse in the editor view to reset the focus and enable key equivalents.
