Renumber Selected Controls (Panel Edit)
This option is used to assign new ID numbers to each of the currently selected controls. There are two options and you should choose the appropriate one based on the controls you have selected. If the selected controls are in a vertical direction, choose the right to left option. If they are horizontal, choose the left to right option.For multiple columns of vertical controls, you may wish to number each column separately as the columns will be renumbered in a right to left order.
Directions:
To assign new IDs to each of the selected controls:
| 1. | Choose Editor/Panel Edit to place the Editor in Panel Edit mode |
| 2. | Select the controls you with to assign new IDs to |
| 3. | Right click and choose Edit Control Parameters/IDs/Renumber Selected Controls (Vertical) or (Horizontal) from the popup menu |
| 4. | Use the displayed dialog to enter the starting ID value and press the OK button |
| 5. | Each of the selected controls will be assigned a new ID value starting with the entered value |
Note 1: It is important that you select a starting ID such that each of the newly numbered controls will not receive an ID already used by an existing control.
