Apply Macro (Panel Edit)
This function opens a dialog to assign the same macro to all selected controls.
When you you have multiple controls which need the name macro, this is the fastest method to make the macro assignment.
Directions:
To open the Apply Macro dialog:
| 1. | Choose Editor/Panel Edit Enable to place the Editor in Panel Edit mode |
| 2. | Select the controls which require new macro assignments |
| 3. | Right click and choose Edit Common Parameters/Apply Macro... from the popup menu |
| 4. | Complete the Apply Macro dialog and press the OK button |
| 5. | Panel Edit update the specified macros in the selected controls |
The Apply Macro Dialog
This dialog is used to apply new macros and initial values to selected controls.
For each control common parameter, check the apply box to apply the new assignments to the selected control.
Transmit - updates the control's Transmit macro
Retrieve - updates the control's Retrieve macro
Store - updates the control's Store macro
Activate - updates the control's Activate macro
W - sets a new default W variable value
Y - sets a new default Y variable value
Z - sets a new default Z variable value
