MQ Range Custom Pane (Panel Edit)

 

The Range control allows editing of two parameter usually to select a range of values. For example, to specify the upper and lower notes where a sound will be active. Or to limit the velocity response range of the keyboard.

Range Parameters

The Range parameters are divided into two groups. The standard parameter controlling display and the popup parameters which control the information displayed in the popup line.

Background Style

Set the type of background for the control

Background Bitmap

If a Bitmap is selected as the background style, specify the specific bitmap here.

Foreground Style

Specify how the selected range is displayed. For Macintosh compatibility, currently only "Solid Color", "Bitmap", and "Stretch Bitmap" options can be selected.

Foreground Bitmap

If a foreground style is selected that requires a bitmap, enter the name of the bitmap here.

Left Edge Bitmap

Specify the bitmap to use in the space to the left of the selected range. This bitmap displays at the left edge of the selection portion of the control, not the left edge of the entire control.

Right Edge Bitmap

Specify the bitmap to use in the space to the right of the selected range. This bitmap displays at the right edge of the selection portion of the control, not the right edge of the entire control.

Grid

Sets the editing resolution of the control allowing the specification of steps larger than one.

Style

Select the editing style.

Edge click - click the left mouse button to set the position of the left edge. Click the right mouse button to set the position of the right edge.

Click and Drag - left click on either edge to adjust the position of that edge. Click and drag in the middle to change the position of the selected range.

Grab Size

When using Click and Drag editing, set the number of pixels that allows the selection of an edge to edit instead of selecting the entire range to move.

Transparent

The control displays with transparency

Transparent Color

Specify the color representing transparency

Rounding

Round the edges of the control
