MQ Toggle Test Mode (OSC Editor)

Purpose:

The OSC Editor has two modes, standard development mode and test mode. This menu item is used to switch between the two modes.

In development mode, priority is given to control layout and setup. The controls are not capable of generating any OSC output.

In test mode, it is still possible to make extended selections of controls and all menu based editing options are enabled. However, each OSC control becomes active and is capable of generating OSC messages. This feature allows you to test your OSC editor in Midi Quest instead of first having to transfer it to your iPad.

In test mode to have your controls generate OSC message, click the left mouse button and hold it down on a control. Drag the mouse up and down to edit the value of the control. This method will work with all controls except for horizontal faders where you drag left right and buttons and toggles where you click on the control to generate the message.

Directions:

To enable Test mode:

1.Select OSC Editor / Toggle Test Mode so that  the option is checked
2.Controls will now generate OSC messages and your layout can be tested in Midi Quest
