New (Files Menu)

Purpose:

New opens a new window of the selected type. The menu item contains a sub-menu which allows one of four types to be selected: Set/Editor, Library, Collection, and Studio.

Set/Editor - this option is enabled if the Studio Window is open and a new Set or Editor can be created for the selected instrument or component. If an instrument is selected then a new Set is created, otherwise, an "Editor" for the selected component is displayed.

Library - if a component is select for which a Library can be created the selecting New / Library will immediately create a new Library for that type of SysEx. If any other component is selected, a dialog is displayed listing all of the different types of SysEx libraries that can be created. Select the desired type and press OK to create the new Library.

Collection - this option creates a new Collection.

Studio - this option opens a Studio Window if there is no window open. Alternately, it clears the contents of the current window.
