This page defines Midi Quest's Cubase name server. Midi Quest Pro only Name Servers allow Midi Quest to keep your sequencer's name lists in sync with your equipment automatically. How does this work? For Cubase, Midi Quest automatically updates the name scripts used by Cubase to access names. Just in case you use multiple versions of the same program, Midi Quest supports multiple installations so you can keep each version in sync. Cubase Limitations: Currently Cubase does not actively read the script file on each application load. For Cubase to respond to changes made to the script files, it is necessary to manually read the script file into Cubase.
