Purpose: The Edit button serves two purposes depending on how the bank is opened. If the bank is opened in a separate window, the button controls whether the Bank is displayed in split or regular mode. In regular (the default) mode, the Bank window shows each of the Patches in the Bank, as displayed below: The second is the split mode. In this mode, the Bank Patches are displayed in the left hand portion of the window. Selecting an element of the Bank, a Patch, displays its contents for editing in the right hand portion of the window. To edit the SysEx, there must be an editor available for it. Following is an example of a Bank in split mode. Note: To access the menu for the Editor use the right mouse button speed menus. Alternately, when editing a bank in a Set window, clicking this button will open the Patch in a separate Patch Editor window as follows
Directions: In a stand-alone Bank Window, to switch the Bank Window between regular and split mode, press the Edit button. In a Set window to edit a patch in a bank, press the Edit button or double click on the patch to edit. For more information on editing sound patches from a Multi/Combi/Performance editor, click here.
